Michelle’s Bat Mitzvah

THE STORY

Jen and Brian came to us with excitement, a booked venue, and a clear sense of what mattered most: giving Michelle exactly the celebration she deserved while making sure the day felt personal and intentional from start to finish. It was their first Mitzvah and they wanted to get it right. That is exactly the kind of client we love working with.

Michelle was adorable and every bit a natural little planner herself. Each time we met, all three of them showed up together, parents and daughter, side by side. That kind of investment and care made the entire planning process a genuine joy.

The morning of setup brought one small surprise: a ballroom full of Christmas trees and hallways lined with red poinsettias. Every single one had to go. The staff may not have loved us for it but Michelle's island getaway was not sharing a room with a holiday display. We got it done.

By the end of the night Michelle said it was the best day of her life. There is truly nothing better than that.

THE VISION

In the middle of winter, we transported 119 guests straight to the beach. That was the mission and we delivered every detail of it.

Michelle loves the shore, so we built her world around it. Ocean blues, seashells, coastal accents, and a vibe that felt warm and sun-kissed even in the cold. The family was intentional about keeping things tasteful and laid back, no oversized screens or blown up photos. Just a classy, beautifully designed celebration that felt personal and fun from the moment guests walked in.

Paradise Punch flowed, the candy bar was a hit, dancers brought the energy, and the afternoon was filled with games, laughter, and the people Michelle loves most. Exactly the kind of day a Bat Mitzvah should be.
